Squeeze-Action Micro-Scissors Set

The fine razor-sharp blades of these stainless steel micro-scissors neatly cut a variety of stringing materials as well as fine-gauge wire and foil. Beading scissors have short blades that taper to a fine point, allowing clear access to hard-to-reach places. These micro-scissors are also useful for cutting foil and the finest gauges of metal. Straight-blade shears are perfect for cutting fine, straight lines and curved-blade shears are ideal for cutting smooth curves and contours. The tough, rust-resistant stainless steel gives a reasonable life and good value; the jaws may require regular maintenance with use. This set contains one pair of 4" scissors with curved blades and one pair of 4-3/4" scissors with straight blades.

• A jaw stop is built into one handle to protect the cutting edges from damage caused by them colliding with each other. Jaw-stops prevent over-extension of the tool, which can distort the jaw shape or stress the pivot joint. This fine control is especially useful for production work.
• The handles are designed to slot together and provide their own spring-like tension so that the blades close smoothly as the looped handles are squeezed shut for crisp, steady control.
