This sterling silver pendant features a cabochon mounting with four prongs that hold one 12 x 10mm oval cabochon or flat-back stone. The mounting features a flat, open base; the open back makes it lightweight and comfortable to wear. A tapered rabbit-ear bail makes it easy to add the pendant to cord or chain necklace and bracelet designs; a rabbit-ear bail is a tapered style that is split in half vertically, giving it the appearance of a pair of long, curving rabbit ears.
