These M-series tapered carbide flush cutters (M403C) from Swanstrom feature a small head and fine, tapered jaws, ideal for accessing close areas and trimming wire ends. Swanstrom’s M-series cutters are precise, have exceptional strength and stay sharper longer—perfect for almost all hard-wire cutting applications. The cutting edges of these cutters feature brazed-in-place tungsten carbide for extra strength, precision-ground to exacting requirements. Flush cutters require less pressure to cut than bevel cutters; though more noticeable than that left by a super- or semi-flush cutters, the visible pinch left on the cut end is still minimal. The tapered head shape provides improved access to fine details or close work areas; protect the tips against damage by cutting at the center of the jaw.

• These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and the Scrivet™ set through both halves combines the strength of a rivet with the capability to precisely adjust it.
• The double-leaf spring, welded in place for added durability, consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each tool handle, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed.
