Work in tight spaces, finish edges and thicken edges with this Picard bordering hammer; it is also great for creasing and crimping metal. The hammer features two cross-peen faces with differing domes; the highly polished finish on the faces will not leave dings or scratches when used on metal surfaces. Bordering hammers, sometimes called ‘creasing’ hammers, feature a wide head with an upper surface that slopes downward to form narrow, rounded horizontal faces, each with a different radius. Picard hammers are made with a hardened and tempered steel head that ensures a long life. The handle is crafted from Ash wood and is sealed to provide a comfortable grip.
