This oval chrysoprase cabochon has a pale mint-green color; its durability makes it ideal for setting in bezel mountings in nearly any style of jewelry. Combine it with complementary-color gemstones to create mixed-gem pendants, rings and bracelets, or use it alone to draw attention to the mint-green color. The most valuable form of chalcedony and prized for its color, chrysoprase is often mistaken for jade due to its vivid-to-soft green color, which comes from nickel silicate within the gemstone.
