These Xuron® cutters are specifically designed to cut memory wire, which would damage the jaws of most cutters; these cutters can also handle piano wire or any hard wire up to 0.064" (14 ga.) thick. Cutters designed for memory wire have exceptionally strong jaws and help eliminate pinched ends, leaving ends square and usable on both sides of the cut. The retainer on the upper jaw catches and holds the cut piece of wire to keep it from flying off, and a special self-adjusting clamping feature securely holds material perpendicular to the cut.

  • The wire return spring keeps the cutters open until you squeeze them closed.
  • The ergonomic shape of the handles ensures hours of use without hand fatigue and the non-slip grips provide a secure hold. Xuron® cutters are made from induction-hardened tool steel for exceptionally long service.
