Carbide3D High-Strength (Blue) Machinable Fixturing Wax

Manufactured by Carbide3D especially for use in the Nomad 833 Pro CNC mill, this machinable fixturing wax is used to hold stock firmly in place during carving operations. It is ideal when machining fine-gauge metal such as aluminum and brass and leaves behind no residue or adhesive that might dull your cutters. The wax easily releases the finished design without leaving sticky residue behind and without risking breakage by having to bend or pry to separate the wax from the workpiece. To use the wax: 1) Heat your stock material using a heat gun. 2) Add a few pieces of fixturing wax and continue to heat until the pieces melt. 3) Turn the stock over and press it securely onto the wasteboard or other protective backing material. 4) After machining the design, heat the stock again and remove the wax.
