HD Pattern Micro-Injector Kit

The HD Pattern Micro-Injector allows you to meet higher production needs by quickly injecting multiple molds with HD Pattern photopolymer material, creating detailed, high-definition patterns that, once cured, are ready to tree or to use as master models. The injector chamber holds one bottle of HD Pattern Avatar or Master Copy photopolymer injection solution and applies compressed air (compressor is not included) to deliver the solution smoothly and easily to your molds. Place your HD Pattern Avatar or HD Pattern Master Copy photopolymer solution in the chamber and insert the feed tube into the bottle (see 'Please Note' below). The photopolymer liquid is dispensed through a gun-style handpiece fitted with an injector tip—choose the tip, from needle-fine to specially shaped, that delivers the best result for each specific pattern. A very fine needle tip allows you to move around inside intricate patterns during injection, helping to ensure a complete fill and to remove any air bubbles that may form. Tips feature a Luer-lock base (similar to the needle on a hypodermic syringe) that twist-locks into position to ensure a secure, leak-free connection and quick, efficient tip changes. The compressed air ensures smooth, controlled delivery of the photopolymer solution. The spin bag (included) helps to eliminate bubbles from the mold through centrifugal force—place the mold (still secured by glass plates in the frame) at the bottom of the bag, then hold the top of the bag and spin briefly (10–15 seconds) to force the bubbles out of the mold. Repeat as needed to eliminate bubbles. After injecting, the mold must be cured to complete the process; use the HD Pattern Firefly™ hyperbaric pressure/UV light curing chamber (available separately) for this purpose.
