Specifically designed for use with any of the PUK welding units, these chain-nose pliers are ideal for holding parts securely during the welding process. On chain-nose pliers, both jaws are semi-round with flat interior surfaces, tapering to a point from the pivot to the tip. Solid construction offers long life and ease of use. Padded, insulated handles are comfortable over long periods of use; a generous 40" cord ensures plenty of flexibility.
•These pliers have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other.
• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.
