14/20 Yellow Gold-Filled 7.3mm Round Tag, 0.51mm, 1/2-Hard

Attach this 14/20 yellow gold-filled oval quality tag (sometimes called a design or jewelry tag) to let your customers know what is special about your design; stamp or engrave information such as the purity of the metal, country of origin ("Made in the USA"), or your logo or signature design. This tag has a 1/2-hard temper; it is is partially work-hardened and will hold its shape under some stress. Gold-filled items are made by heat- and pressure-bonding a layer of 14K (or 12K) gold to a base-metal core. The 14/20 notation refers to the ratio of karat gold to base-metal core by weight; the first figure is the karat value of the gold layer, the second is the total percentage (by weight) of precious metal contained in the item. On double-clad items, the quantity of precious metal is divided between the upper and lower surfaces of the core metal.
