Dura-BULL® Flat Lap System

Use this complete horizontal flat lap system from Dura-BULL® to grind flats, re-work quartz crystals, or make free-form cabochons. It is also well-suited for cutting, shaping, and polishing glass. Constructed of high-impact ABS plastic, this machine is sturdy and lightweight. Powered by a 1/4hp, variable-speed, ball-bearing DC motor with 800–3400rpm and a built-in 110-volt AC converter, this machine is quiet enough to be used in the smallest shop, in the home studio, even in a trailer or RV. A coolant reservoir holds approximately one pint of water (enough to keep you working for up to 2-3 hours) to prevent heat build-up and help remove dust; a splash guard keeps the water off your work clothes and on your workpiece, where it can do the most good. The lightweight, impact-resistant body will not rust and is a breeze to clean—just remove the water spray shield and tray, wash, and you are ready to work again. An accessory kit is included with the machine that allows you to work right out of the box. Grind, shape and polish a wide variety of natural and synthetic gemstone materials as well as glass and enamels. The kit contains:
