Radically improve the control and accuracy of your sawing with the MK4 high-tension saw frame from Knew Concepts. The MK4 is specially designed to support maximum tension in your saw blades—virtually eliminating bowing, twisting or wandering of the blade as you cut—without compromising the shape or integrity of the frame. This 3" frame readily accommodates 2–3 times more tension (up to 60 lbs.) than a traditional 3" saw frame (and slightly more than the Knew Concepts 3" cam-lever saw frame) to deliver the maximum performance from your saw blade. The quick-change cam-lever tensioning system also allows you to quickly change blades without losing your tension adjustment: simply flip the lever up to release tension, swap out blades and flip the lever back down. Save time and trouble when work demands repetitive blade changes, such as when piercing metal. Knew Concepts saw frames are light and rigid, providing precise control, reduced blade breakage and very little flex. The hardened aluminum frame weighs only 186 grams (6.5 oz.), far less than a comparable steel saw frame. The 3" (76mm) throat depth is ideal for fine work on small pieces; working length of the saw blade is 4-1/4". A comfortably curved wood handle and excellent balance and control make this saw an excellent choice.
