These M-series semi-flush cutters from Swanstrom are ideal for working in close areas without sacrificing strength; the short jaws provide extra leverage in tight spaces. The semi-flush jaws are slightly offset, making it easier to cut and leaving a slight step at the cut ends rather than a spiked pinch. Swanstrom’s M-series cutters are precise, have exceptional strength and stay sharper longer—perfect for almost all hard-wire cutting applications. Semi-flush cutters have a very small notch on the back surface that helps to minimize the pinch left on the material after the cut. Making the cut requires a bit more pressure than super-flush cutters.
• These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and the Scrivet™ set through both halves combines the strength of a rivet with the capability to precisely adjust it.
• The double-leaf spring, welded in place for added durability, consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each tool handle, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed.
