This 14-karat white gold ring mounting features a mounting-within-a-mounting halo design and an open, sectioned mounting that enhances the play of light beneath the stones. The center 4-prong mounting holds one 6mm (0.85-ct., approx.) cushion-cut faceted gemstone so that it rests amidst the stones already mounted, halo-style, and arranged around it—the halo is set with 20 0.005-ct. round diamonds (I1 clarity/G, H color; 0.1CTTW) in shared 4-prong mountings. Pre-notched prongs provide a professional start to stone-setting with perfectly level stone seats already cut into each prong. Set your stone into the prongs to check the fit. If necessary, adjust the seat to best accommodate your stone. To secure the stone in place, burnish the prongs over the stone.
