Artistic Wire® Acrylic Drawplate

The Artistic Wire® draw plate is ideal for reducing wire or woven chain to finer diameters as needed for the designs you create. The light, sturdy acrylic ensures a smooth reduction with no snagging or catching. The plates can be hand-held or mounted in a bench vise for the best stability. Start with a length of knitted or braided wire rope, then draw it through successively smaller holes until it is the size you need. Each hole is slightly tapered to make a smoother and more even draw. The plate has 22 holes; one set drilled in millimeters (3mm to 6mm) and one set drilled in inches 5/8" to 1/8". Hole sizes are etched into the acrylic and have a high-contrast color, making them easy to read for faster access to the size you need.
