The denser graphite stands up better to their solvent characteristics to deliver a longer service life when used with these metals.Graphite crucibles help scavenge any remaining oxygen from your melt, reducing oxidation of the metal and delivering cleaner pours and finer after-cast surfaces. Use crucibles with 11.5mm pour holes for sprue sizes up to 3/8".
