Cut to your specifications, this 1/2-hard De-Ox sterling silver round wire is ideal for creating components, wire wrapping and other forming techniques. The alloy contains metals that provide deoxidation properties, making it resistant to tarnish; these materials make up less than 1% of the alloy and are not listed in the SDS. Metal that is 1/2-hard is partially work-hardened and will hold its shape under some stress. Keep in mind that hardness is changeable by soldering, annealing, heat-hardening or work-hardening. The wire is packaged in coils. Available in custom cuts of any length, with a minimum weight of 0.01 ozt.
