This Dura-BULL® trim saw cleanly trims facet material, opals and rock slabs of all types. The saw table has a large working area, measuring 15" x 9" and its 5/8" aluminum arbor accommodates a 6" saw blade (includes one diamond blade). The housing is made of durable, virtually unbreakable polyethylene that is easy to clean and will never rust. The housing and all plastic parts are guaranteed for as long as you own the machine. The motor is a 1/4hp, heavy-duty direct-drive permanent magnet motor with sealed ball bearings; it is built to last, to work all day, every day, delivering speeds from 800rpm up to 3,400rpm. The coolant reservoir, built right into the base, cleans away sludge and residue with minimal mess and holds up to 16 oz. of cooling water; a built-in splash guard keeps the water off your work clothes and on your workpiece, where it can do the most good. The reservoir is easy to drain and keep clean. An adjustable saw blade guide/vise is available separately to secure your work as you cut and to help you ensure precise, repeatable results.
