This compact, powerful filter hood is designed to work with the Foredom® bench lathe. Great when positioned next to the bench lathe but can be moved anywhere on a benchtop for use with a flex shaft or micro-motor. The hood has a variable speed fan that offers strong self-contained suction power for removing particles of hazardous dust and reclaiming precious metal. Made of powder coated, heavy gauge steel and is CE compliant. It has a removable metal water-tight tray, a gooseneck mounted bright, long-lasting LED light, and a clear acrylic shield that flips up and out of the way. The hood includes two filters—one all-purpose polyester filter (for coarse particles) and one charcoal/polyester combination filter (for medium to fine particles); choose the filter appropriate for the work you're doing and change filters as the work changes. Replacement filters are available separately.
