Named for its continuous ring-shaped saw blade, th ring saw from Apollo delivers three saws in one: it accepts any of three blade styles depending on the materials you will be working with (blades are not included; available separately to allow you to choose the blade that's right for your work). And changing blades is easy, thanks to the revolutionary Apollo removable saw blade cartridge design. All blades are stainless steel. What blades are available? A round blade made from diamond-coated round wire, is a flexible blade ideal for cutting in every direction—forward, back, side-to-side—with extremely fine detail. Two double-sided blades, diamond-sintered on one side only, are rigid blades used for cutting straight lines and long, smooth curves; this blade is available in either fine- or medium-grit coating. Pre-mounted in a cartridge, each blade is simply set into the saw body and tightened into place. Replacement blades are available. A heavy-duty, large capacity lapidary saw, the Apollo can:
