The tester features a double probe tip and identifies mined and lab grown diamonds in the D–J color range, as well as moissanite and diamond simulants. It accurately reads loose and mounted gemstones as small as 0.02 ct. (1.5mm).The Belize tester delivers easy-to-read text results on the display and can be switched for left- or right-handed use. Diamond, moissanite and synthetic stones prompt you to perform test II; any other stones that are tested give a reading of simulant.
