The 7 lb. GRS® MicroBlock® XL allows you to access your piece from almost any angle. The smooth self-centering jaw system (2-3/4”, 70mm max. opening) is great for detailed engraving and stone setting. An internal brake system ensures a strong, steady grip. The vise is machined from solid stainless steel and finished with a special low-glare treatment to reduce eye strain. Microscopic Work A low profile makes the MicroBlock® XL ideal for exacting tasks with the aid of a microscope. The vise configuration provides stability for your work and allows quick and easy positioning adjustment of your piece without changing the alignment of the microscope or its field of view.
