These Micro-Bevel® cutters from Lindstrom feature a smaller head and finer jaws than traditional bevel cutters, ideal for accessing close areas and making precise cuts and trimming wire ends. The most durable of cutters, bevel cutters require more pressure to make the cut, and have a V-notch on the back surface, which leaves a pinch at the end of the cut material. Micro-bevel cutters are designed with smaller heads and finer jaws that have a more pronounced taper, improving access to finer details. A dark, matte finish prevents eye strain caused by reflective glare and increases visibility of the workpiece.
• These cutters have a lap joint; one half of the joint overlaps the other, and a screw is set through both halves, allowing the joint to be adjusted as needed.
• The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity.
• High-impact plastic handles provide durability and a comfortable grip. All Lindstrom tool handles are latex free. Ball-bearing quality, high-carbon/high-chrome alloy steel is the highest-quality tool steel and produces the longest-lasting cutters; these tools can be hardened up to 65 HRC. Forging offers the best combination of strength and durability; the jaws will not be nicked with normal use and keep their shape and finish well over time. Lindstrom cutters are precision-crafted from a hardened, high-chromium steel alloy and precision-ground to exact specifications. Jaw edges are smoothly radiused to protect the workpiece; they meet perfectly along their entire length to ensure a clean and complete cut.
