RiaceWax® Hydroresin Water-Soluble Injection Wax

RiaceWax® Hydroresin, a water-soluble injection wax, allows you to create molds of hollow designs using the wax injection process. This wax melts smoothly in a wax pot, injects just like any other wax, and dissolves completely in water. Hydroresin is easy to use and cost-effective on any production line.Use Hydroresin to create a model of the core of your hollow design, make a rubber mold of that model and inject the mold with Hydroresin wax to produce as many cores as you need. Then, build your hollow design model around the core—even a filigree—and make a rubber mold of the entire design. Insert a Hydroresin wax core into the design mold and inject as usual. After removing the model from the mold, swirl it in water to dissolve the Hydroresin core. You are left with a hollow, beautifully detailed injected wax pattern, ready to tree and cast.
