Ring-Making Mandrels and Stand, Complete Set

These ring-making mandrels are made of beech wood and aren’t tapered, making them ideal for forming metal clay rings; fire the rings using pellets you make with pellet molds. The ring size is stamped on each mandrel. The steel stand can be inverted so you can work on rings from two directions; the mandrel can also be removed from the stand for hand-held work. This complete set includes:

• Steel stand.
• 12 double-ended mandrels in sizes 4–15 (half and whole sizes) allowing you to make metal clay rings in sizes 2–13 or 2-1/2–13-1/2 (accounting for the approximate 12% shrinkage when firing metal clay).
• Wood base.
