This sterling silver seamed snake chain necklace component is open at its center with a 0.078" (2mm) ID open ring at each chain end. Attach a festoon pendant, or create customized, one-of-a-kind pieces. Design a custom plaque or link two or more plaques or components with jump rings, then attach the centerpiece to the closed ring on either end of the necklace chain component to create a finished necklace. The length of your centerpiece will determine the finished length of the necklace. This chain is plated with fine silver to ensure a bright white color and to help protect against tarnish. Seamed snake chain is created with soldered, machine-made curb-style chain that is compressed twice, producing the snake-like appearance and leaving behind a telltale seam visible along its length.
