This gemstone tester recognizes natural and synthetic diamonds in the D–K color range, moissanite, CZ and CZ coated with synthetic diamond. The unit also performs a long (internal) UV test to check fluorescence in diamonds and has a 100% detection rate. The Yehuda separates CVD and HPHT lab grown diamonds and detects natural diamonds that have been color enhanced with the HPHT process. The 8X magnification allows the tester to effortlessly examine stones as small as 0.005 ct. (0.5 pt./1mm).
